Festival Dates: 10-16 March 2026
After the success of previous editions, the Buleleng International Rhythms Festival 2026 will be held from 10 to 16 March 2026. The Regent of Buleleng, I Nyoman Sutjidra, has expressed full support for the festival’s implementation.

This support was conveyed during a meeting with the organizing committee at his office on Monday, 5 January. According to him, the festival—held under the auspices of IOV–UNESCO—is a prestigious cultural event that brings together diverse arts and traditions from around the world, while also creating opportunities for collaboration between local and international artists.

Participation from 8 Countries
The Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Nyoman Dini Andiani, stated that the success of the festival in previous years has strengthened emotional connections with participating countries. This is reflected in the number of countries that have re-registered for this year’s festival.

So far, at least eight countries have officially confirmed their participation, with approximately 200 performers expected to attend. This number may continue to grow as registration remains open.
