A Total Transformation! Lovina Beach's Stunning

The revitalization of Lovina Beach is now 92% complete, revealing a cleaner, more modern, and more welcoming public space. While the beach has been upgraded with new facilities, it still preserves the relaxed atmosphere and authentic Balinese charm that have made Lovina famous for decades.

Buleleng Regent I Nyoman Sutjidra and Deputy Regent Gede Supriatna recently inspected the project, expressing optimism that the revitalized beach will become a new tourism icon for North Bali.
 

A New Chapter for Lovina

The revitalization project is part of the Buleleng Regency Government's long-term plan to strengthen tourism in North Bali.

Construction began in 2024 and is scheduled for full completion in 2026. Although work is still underway, visitors can already enjoy most of the newly completed facilities and experience a fresh side of Lovina. 

One of the biggest highlights is the 651-meter beachfront jogging and cycling track. Stretching alongside the coastline, the wide pathway offers beautiful sea views and a safe space for outdoor activities. Whether you're jogging at sunrise, taking an evening stroll, or cycling with your family, the dedicated path allows visitors to enjoy the beach without sharing the road with vehicles.

As the sun sets, Lovina takes on a completely different atmosphere. The installation of 34 new lighting points has transformed the beachfront into a brighter, safer, and more inviting place at night. Families can enjoy evening walks, couples can relax by the sea, and photographers now have an even more picturesque location for nighttime shots. According to the local government, the project aims to create a tourism area that is comfortable, accessible, and sustainable while preserving Lovina's unique character. Rather than simply following tourism trends, the development focuses on improving public spaces and supporting the local community.




Positive Response from Local Businesses

The transformation has been warmly welcomed by many tourism operators.

Homestay owners, dolphin tour operators, restaurant owners, and local vendors believe the improved facilities will attract more domestic and international visitors. With better public spaces and improved infrastructure, many hope Lovina will become an attractive alternative to Bali's busier southern destinations.

For local businesses, the revitalization represents not only a new look for the beach but also new opportunities for economic growth.

The Buleleng Regency Government hopes the revitalization will achieve several long-term goals.
