Lovina Festival is an annual celebration held on the iconic Lovina Beach, highlighting the cultural, artistic, culinary, and tourism potential of North Bali. The Buleleng government has finalized plans for Lovina Festival 2025, which will take place from July 24–27, 2025, under the theme "The Magical of Lovina."

According to an official update shared on the Buleleng Regency Government’s website bulelengkab.go.id , The Head of Buleleng Tourism Office emphasized the desire to truly showcase the magical essence of Lovina Beach. In a coordination meeting held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, several exciting activities were discussed — from the famous dolphin tours and traditional art performances to culinary bazaars and mass dance performances featuring local students and long-stay guests in Bali.

In addition, two new attractions are set to enhance this year's celebration: a Fishing Competition and a Traditional Sailboat Race.
"Lovina has an extraordinary potential for fish, such as barracuda and other types favored by anglers (fishermen). Meanwhile, the sailing boats will feature attractions from local fishermen with branding from each hotel. This is also part of the tourism experience we offer," he said.

To elevate its marine tourism potential, the Bupati Buleleng Fishing Tournament 2025 will take place on Sunday, July 27, 2025. It's a perfect opportunity for anglers to enjoy fishing against the backdrop of Lovina’s stunning ocean views — and to discover the impressive fish that live beneath its waters.

This isn’t the first time Lovina has hosted such a fun event. According to a 2019 report from dkpp.bulelengkab.go.id, a similar competition drew 73 participants, both local and international. One winner even caught a fish weighing 13.2 kilograms — leaving us curious to see what impressive catches await in 2025!
