Eco-Friendly Mobility at North Bali Airport

Preparations for North Bali Airport continue to progress steadily. PT BIBU Panji Sakti, the company responsible for managing North Bali Airport, has entered into a collaboration with PT Mobil Anak Bangsa to provide electric vehicles for airport operations as part of efforts to create an environmentally friendly airport ecosystem. The electric vehicles deployed are locally produced, reflecting a commitment to supporting domestic industry.

The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties. Beyond reducing carbon emissions, the use of electric vehicles represents the implementation of the Tri Hita Karana philosophy—emphasizing harmony between God, humanity, and the environment.

North Bali Airport itself is designed based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy, which is translated into spatial planning, architectural elements, and green integration with the surrounding landscape. Within this concept, mobility is considered an essential component of sustainable airport development.

Kelik Irwanto, President Director of PT Mobil Anak Bangsa, expressed his pride in supporting a major national project.

“We are proud that MAB products have been selected to support a large-scale national project such as North Bali International Airport. This is not merely the procurement of vehicles, but part of the journey toward a cleaner and more competitive Indonesia,” he said.

This partnership marks an initial step toward the implementation of an integrated green airport concept. It also demonstrates support for Indonesian-made products in the strategic automotive sector and reinforces the vision of a future-ready airport ecosystem, as conveyed by Erwanto Sad Adiatmoko Hariwibowo, CEO of PT BIBU Panji Sakti.
