In Loving Memory of Jeroen Franken

On Wednesday, 22 October 2025, we commemorate two years since the passing of our dear friend, colleague, and leader, Jeroen, the owner and one of the guiding figures behind Palm Living. It feels almost unreal how quickly time has passed. Two years may have gone by, yet the memories of working, laughing, and sharing ideas with him still feel fresh as if it all happened just yesterday. We who had the privilege to work with him know how deeply he cared, not only about the growth of Palm Living but also about the people within it.

Jeroen was more than a leader, he was a mentor, a friend, and an inspiration. His patience and kindness left a mark on everyone who crossed his path. He was the kind of person who listened with empathy, guided with wisdom, and supported his team with quiet strength. Under his vision and collaboration, Palm Living grew into the warm and welcoming place we are proud to call our professional home today.

To honor his life and contributions, we gathered together for a flower scattering ceremony at sea, a simple yet deeply meaningful tradition to express our love, gratitude, and longing. As the flowers touched the surface of the calm ocean, it felt as though the sea itself embraced our memories of him. The soft waves and the peaceful sky reminded us of his gentle nature, and how his presence always brought comfort even in the busiest or most difficult days.

Standing by the shore, we were filled with reflection on how far Palm Living has come, and how much of that journey began with his vision. His values of sincerity, teamwork, and compassion continue to guide us every day. Although Jeroen is no longer physically with us, his spirit remains close — in the culture he helped build, in the care he showed his people, and in the way we continue his mission with pride and gratitude.

Thank you, Jeroen, for your dedication, your kindness, and your unwavering heart. May you rest peacefully, just as you once gave comfort and warmth to those around you. Your presence will forever be missed, but your memory will always be cherished today, tomorrow, and always.
